Super Bowl 56 is set. The 2022 NFL Championship Game will see the Cincinnati Bengals against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, February 13, at the Rams’ SoFi Stadium.

For the second straight season, a Super Bowl participant will be playing in its home stadium. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won Super Bowl 55 at their Raymond James Stadium last year.

The hometown Rams mowed over two NFC West rivals on their way to the NFL Championship, defeating the Arizona Cardinals in the Wild Card round and the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday in the NFC Championship — eliminating Tom Brady’s aforementioned Bucs in between.

The Bengals won the AFC North and entered the 2022 NFL Playoffs as the No. 3 seed. #WhoDey disposed of the Las Vegas Raiders at home, then upset the No. 1 Tennessee Titans and the No. 2 Kansas City Chiefs on the road.

Super Bowl 56 Favorites

Los Angeles Rams To Win 2022 Super Bowl (-200) at Caesars

The Rams are the favorite considering they’ll be playing in their own arena.

The 2021-2022 Matthew StaffordCooper Kupp connection will go down as one of the most productive seasonal funnels in history, but Odell Beckham Jr.‘s arrival and Cam Akers‘ return from a torn Achilles have expanded the offense’s potential.

The Rams’ defensive pressure didn’t sack Jimmy Garoppolo once in the NFC Championship Game but put on constant pressure in the second half.

The Bengals’ much-maligned offensive line will have to be helped by extra blockers often against Aaron Donald, Von Miller, and Leonard Floyd.
This or the Jalen RamseyJa’Marr Chase duel likely will tilt the game in either direction.

Super Bowl 56 Contenders

Cincinnati Bengals to Win Super Bowl 2022 (+170)

Joe Burrow was quieter than usual but still boasts an alpha wideout in Ja’Marr Chase and a deep supporting corps with near-alpha Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd, and RB Joe Mixon.

Cincy completed a comeback victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, mainly on the back of its defensive staredown that held the Chiefs to just three points after halftime and snagged a crucial interception that set up the Super Bowl ticket-punching field goal.

This unit could pester Stafford into making mistakes, similar to his miscues against the 49ers. San Francisco dropped several possible interceptions, which bailed out the gunslinger.

Cincinnati and offensive-minded head coach Zac Taylor will have to call a favorable package of plays for Burrow to move the pocket and avoid that dangerous Rams defensive front, but this group of receivers is capable of keeping the score close, at least, if not putting the offense in position to pull out more miracles.

Of course, for when this matters, Cincy has the kicker edge with Evan McPherson, who won each of the Bengals’ last two games with his foot.
